Sealion 7 Tyres and Suspension: Rough-Road Buying Checks
Assess a Sealion for the roads it will actually use. Wheel appearance, AWD and an SUV body do not establish off-road capability or protect a damaged underbody.
Verify the fitted wheel package
Compare wheel and tyre requirements with the applicable vehicle guidance. Check size, condition and evidence of modifications. Do not choose a substitute only because it fits physically or promises extra clearance.
Inspect wear and impact evidence
Ask a qualified inspector to assess uneven wear, wheel damage, suspension condition and the battery protection area. New tyres can conceal the previous wear pattern. Abnormal alignment or vibration needs a diagnosis rather than an assumption that all examples drive that way.
Use a representative safe test
Compare comfort on ordinary roads within the vehicle’s intended use. Do not stage impacts or rough-ground stunts. Include suitable tyre replacement, diagnosed repairs and local parts availability in the purchase decision.
