Sealion 7 in Hot Climates: Battery and Cooling Checks
Battery chemistry is only part of a hot-climate buying decision. A Sealion still needs a suitable charging routine, functioning thermal management and condition evidence for the actual vehicle.
Do not turn a demonstration into a guarantee
A manufacturer safety demonstration does not certify a used pack after collision, water entry or poor repair. Ask a qualified technician to inspect relevant history, warning records and physical condition without opening high-voltage components unnecessarily.
Assess ordinary heat exposure
Describe parking, passenger cooling needs and charging stops in the destination. Request appropriate operating evidence with ambient conditions recorded. A brief test in a cool building cannot establish performance through an entire hot working day.
Plan support and transport
Identify a workshop able to diagnose the version and investigate abnormal temperature or charging behaviour. Follow the carrier’s current preparation instructions and stop for qualified assessment if damage is suspected. Do not rely on a blanket claim of immunity to overheating or a promised degradation percentage.
