BYD Sealion 7 Specifications: Battery, Size and Market
A Sealion 7 specification is useful when you can connect every figure to a market, production period and grade. Start with the offered vehicle identity, then use the applicable manufacturer sheet. The 2026 date in a sales listing does not make all archived specifications new model-year data.
Build a traceable identity row
Record the factory designation, original market, production date, battery identity, drive layout and grade. Keep China-market Sealion 07 EV information separate from overseas Sealion 7 versions. Retain the source and its date with the quotation so a later substitution can be detected.
Separate AC and DC capability
The June 2025 UK sheet lists 11 kW AC charging and different DC limits by grade: 150 kW for Comfort and Design, 230 kW for Excellence. These are UK-sheet examples, not specifications for every imported car. Check the actual inlet and supported supply; a DC maximum does not describe home charging.

Use dimensions for the actual physical task
Take overall dimensions from the applicable record, noting whether mirrors are included in width. Check door opening, tailgate clearance and garage access separately. Published body size cannot show whether your stroller passes the cargo opening or your rear passenger has room behind the normal driver position.
Keep battery capacity and range definitions intact
Check whether capacity is gross or usable and retain the manufacturer wording. Name the test cycle for range and do not rank CLTC and WLTP as equivalent measurements. A launch value is not evidence of used battery condition. Keep vehicle-specific assessment separate from the factory specification.
Attach equipment evidence to the order
Confirm supplied cables, charging equipment, keys, seating and required assistance functions. Demonstrate installed features rather than extrapolating from a similar trim photograph. Have the destination support and acceptance requirements checked for the actual version before the quotation is accepted.
What to request before ordering
- Factory identity and applicable dated specification.
- Separate AC, DC and connector fields.
- Dimensions with measurement definitions.
- Named range cycle and demonstrated equipment.
