A Sealion’s cooling and heating behaviour should be assessed together with its fitted equipment and fault history. A cold cabin alone does not establish that every battery-related thermal function is healthy.
Review the initial evidence
Ask a qualified technician to record the exact version, stored faults and relevant operating conditions before clearing codes. Identify previous coolant work or repairs involving the battery area. Unexplained fluid loss needs diagnosis, not routine topping up.
Observe supported operating conditions
Use manufacturer-appropriate checks during ordinary driving and charging. Record temperatures, warnings and interruptions with the equipment and conditions. Do not deliberately overheat the vehicle or open high-voltage components to stage a buyer demonstration.
Retest a defined repair
Where symptoms are found, request the cause, corrective work and repeat-test result. Keep cabin comfort, charging performance and battery assessment as related but distinct observations. Accept the vehicle only when material unresolved concerns are properly addressed.
