BYD Sealion 7 Export FAQ

Answers to the most common questions from international buyers about specifications, export process, warranty, shipping, and more.

General Questions

What is the WLTP range of the BYD Sealion 7?

The Sealion 7 offers up to 502 km WLTP range depending on the variant and wheel size. Real-world range varies based on driving style, temperature, load, and climate control usage.

Is the Sealion 7 available in both RWD and AWD?

Yes. We offer both rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) versions. The AWD versions provide stronger performance and better traction.

What is the difference between new and certified used Sealion 7?

New vehicles come with full factory warranty. Certified used vehicles are low-mileage units that have passed our strict inspection and usually still have significant remaining warranty. Used units are typically more affordable.

Export Process & Documentation

How long does it take to export a Sealion 7 from China?

The full process usually takes 6 to 10 weeks from order confirmation to arrival at your destination port. This includes inspection, documentation, and ocean shipping.

What documents will I receive?

You will receive a complete export documentation package including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, and inspection report with photos and videos.

Do you help with customs clearance in my country?

We handle all China-side export documentation and logistics. Your local agent or importer will handle customs clearance and registration in your country. We provide all necessary documents to support this process.

Payment & Pricing

What payment methods do you accept?

We typically work with bank wire transfer (T/T). We can discuss payment terms (such as deposit + balance before shipping) during the quotation stage.

Is the price negotiable?

Our pricing is competitive and transparent. For larger fleet orders, we can offer better per-unit pricing. Please contact us for a personalized quotation.

Battery, Warranty & After-Sales

What kind of warranty does the Sealion 7 have?

New vehicles come with full factory warranty (typically 6–8 years for the battery and 4–5 years for the vehicle). Certified used vehicles usually retain a large portion of the remaining warranty.

How is the battery performance in hot climates?

The Blade LFP battery used in the Sealion 7 has excellent thermal stability. It performs well in high-temperature environments and degrades more slowly compared to many NMC batteries.

Shipping & Logistics

Which shipping method do you use?

We mainly use Ro-Ro (Roll-on/Roll-off) shipping for vehicles, which is the most common and cost-effective method. Container shipping is also available upon request.

Can I track the shipment?

Yes. Once the vehicle is loaded, we will provide tracking information and estimated arrival time at your destination port.
