New vs Used BYD Sealion 7: Compare the Whole Offer
New and used Sealion offers need different checks, but neither should be judged by its label alone. Compare registration status, equipment, condition and confirmed support on the same delivery basis.
Clarify what new means
Ask about production date, storage, registration and any previous demonstration use. A low odometer reading does not establish every aspect of status. Request pre-delivery checks and written coverage terms for the destination rather than assuming an international factory warranty.
Evaluate used condition
Review history, repairs, battery assessment and charging behaviour. Do not assume a fixed health percentage or remaining warranty from age alone. If a vehicle is described as certified, ask who certifies it, the actual criteria and what remedy the certification provides.
Compare ready-to-use costs
Include required work, supplied equipment and delivery exclusions in both quotations. Do not rely on an undated price band or a promised resale value. Choose the supported offer that meets the intended use with risks clearly understood.
