Sealion 7 for Europe or the UK: Pre-Purchase Checks
Do not assume that a China-market Sealion is accepted for registration merely because Sealion 7 is also sold in Europe or the UK. Have a qualified destination specialist assess the actual version before committing to it.
Establish the intended destination
Name the country and intended use, then supply accurate vehicle identity, steering position and available manufacturer documents. Requirements and approval routes are destination-specific. Marketing references to RoHS or REACH do not by themselves establish vehicle registration eligibility.
Verify claimed approval evidence
Ask the responsible specialist which documents are applicable and whether those supplied belong to the car. Do not treat a promised future certificate as completed approval. Keep official guidance and written professional advice with the purchase decision.
Separate shipment from road acceptance
Carrier acceptance, customs processing, registration, insurance and charging support are different checks. Obtain a defined quotation and assign responsibility for outstanding items. If the relevant acceptance route is unresolved, postpone purchase rather than shipping on an assumption.
